In 1895, David Sam Romig founded the The Romig Agency after he sold enough policies from his three-wheeled bicycle to open an office. Since that time in the 1890’s, it had remained a family owned and operated business for two additional generations. In 1986, Michael “Obie” Oberholzer purchased the insurance agency from the Romig Family.

Under new leadership, The Romig Agency retained its name and reputation for delivering the highest quality products at the most cost effective prices.

The Romig Agency is an independent insurance agency, free to choose the best carrier for your insurance needs. We do not work for an insurance company, we work for you. We work on your side when you have a loss and follow through to see that you get fair, prompt payment and service.
